The Daihatsu Sigra has once again won the title of best-selling car in Indonesia in June 2023. This Low-Cost Green Car (LCGC) has held the top spot for two consecutive months since May 2023.
The Sigra also beat out the Toyota Avanza and Honda Brio, which previously frequently held the position of best-selling car domestically.
Based on data from the Indonesian Automotive Industry Association (Gaikindo), the Sigra was the best-selling car last month, with 5,358 units sold from the factory to dealers (wholesale) in the domestic market.
The Honda Brio series (Brio Satya and RS) achieved wholesale sales of 5,303 units throughout June 2023, and the Kijang Innova took third place with wholesale sales of 4,381 units.
The Avanza was in fourth place with sales of 4,239 units, followed by the Toyota Calya in fifth place with sales of 4,096 units.

Domestic wholesale car sales in June 2023 reached 82,581 units. This figure is up slightly by 0.58% compared to the previous month (month-on-month/MoM).
Compared to the same period last year, domestic wholesale car sales in June 2023 also increased by 4.65% (year-on-year/YoY).
