Toyota Avanza Car Sales Reach 56,000 Units from January to November 2021

PT Toyota Astra Motor (TAM) recorded a nearly fourfold increase in sales of its Avanza and Veloz models in November 2021. Based on data from the Indonesian Automotive Industry Association (Gaikindo), sales of the Toyota Avanza and Veloz rose from 1,701 units in October 2021 to 8,155 units in November 2021.

With the increase in sales last month, total sales of Toyota Avanza and Veloz models from January to November 2021 reached 56,127 units.

The Avanza and Veloz are now offered under different brands. The Toyota Avanza is presented as the best mobility partner, offering comfort, while the Toyota Veloz is geared towards consumers who prioritize the emotional aspect of achievement.

For the Avanza brand, the New Avanza 1.3 G 2019 (MT) variant was the best-selling, reaching 22,019 units. This was followed by the New Avanza Veloz 1.5 2019 with sales reaching 5,461 units.

Meanwhile, for the Veloz brand, the Veloz 1.5 GR Limited 2021 was the best-selling variant, with sales reaching 1,775 units from January to February 2021.
