Indonesia's Agricultural, Forestry, and Fisheries Exports Increase by 3.4% in October 2021

The Central Statistics Agency (BPS) reported that exports from the domestic agricultural, forestry, and fisheries sectors reached US$409.3 million (1.95%). This figure is up 3.4% from the previous month's US$395.9 million.

Meanwhile, total domestic non-oil and gas exports reached US$21 billion in October 2021. This figure increased by 6.77% from the previous month's US$19.6 billion.

According to BPS, there are 10 major national export commodities from the agricultural, forestry, and fisheries sectors. These include coffee, medicinal plants, forest products, fruits, seaweed, fresh fish, cloves, white pepper, and vegetables.

China was Indonesia's largest non-oil and gas export market, reaching US$5.9 billion in October 2021. This figure increased by 107.46% compared to the same period last year, which was US$2.8 billion.

The United States was the second largest non-oil and gas export market with a value of US$2.34 billion in October 2021. This figure also increased by 43.01% from the same period the previous year, which was US$1.6 billion.
