Crude oil ranked second as the world's largest export product in 2020. Total global crude oil exports are estimated to have reached US$661.8 billion that year.
Saudi Arabia was the world's largest producer and exporter of crude oil. Citing data from *worldstopexports*, the value of crude oil exports from Saudi Arabia in 2020 amounted to US$113.7 billion, or 17.2% of the total.
Russia ranked below Saudi Arabia as the world's largest crude oil exporter. The country recorded export value of US$72.6 billion (11%).
Iraq came in third with crude oil exports valued at US$50.8 billion (7.7%), followed by the United States and the United Arab Emirates with export values of US$50.3 billion (7.6%) and US$47.9 billion (7.2%) respectively.
