China Remains Indonesia's Top Destination for Non-Oil and Gas Exports in February 2022

China remains Indonesia's largest export destination for non-oil and gas products. Based on data from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS), Indonesia's non-oil and gas exports to China reached US$3.72 billion in February 2022.

This value accounts for 19.12% of total national non-oil and gas exports, which reached US$19.47 billion.

Other major export destinations for Indonesian non-oil and gas products include the United States with a value of US$2.39 billion (12.29%). This is followed by Japan at US$1.71 billion (8.77%), India at US$1.43 billion (7.35%), and Malaysia at US$1.03 billion (5.31%).

Next, Indonesia's non-oil and gas exports to South Korea reached US$956.5 million (4.91%). This is followed by Singapore at US$726.7 million (3.73%), Taiwan at US$546.7 million (2.81%), and Thailand and the Netherlands at US$492 million (2.53%) and US$458.9 million (2.36%) respectively.

The market share of Indonesian non-oil and gas exports to the 10 ASEAN countries reached US$3.68 billion (18.92%) last month, and the market share of non-oil and gas exports to the European Union was US$1.58 billion (8.12%).

Animal and vegetable fats and oils were the largest non-oil and gas export commodity from Indonesia, valued at US$4.84 billion (12.83%) in February 2022. Mineral fuels reached US$4.24 billion (11.23%).
