According to the Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS) report, Indonesia's infant mortality rate was 19.83 per 1,000 live births in 2022.

According to UNICEF Indonesia, the main causes of child death are pneumonia, congenital diseases, diarrhea, and neonatal complications.
