Mexico was the largest source of US imports, accounting for 16% of the total, valued at US$510 billion last year.
China was second, with 14% of imports, totaling US$463 billion.
Canada ranked third, representing 13% or US$421 billion.
Outside the top three, proportions were below 10%. These countries include Germany (5%), Japan (4.7%), Vietnam (4.4%), and Italy (2.4%).
