Central Sulawesi Province Exports US$242,230 Thousand Worth of Mollusks and Processed Mollusk Products

Central Sulawesi's January 2025 exports of fish, crustaceans, mollusks, and their processed products (SITC code 03) reportedly fell to US$242,230.

This export decline contributed to a decrease in foreign exchange reserves and overall export value, which had previously been on an upward trend for the past five months. According to Bank Indonesia (BI) records, exports from this province in the same period the previous year reached US$400,190.

Central Sulawesi's customs import documents recorded 20 export commodity groups. These goods are grouped into 2-digit SITC codes. The commodity group with the highest export value was iron and steel (SITC code 67).

Over the past 16 months, Central Sulawesi's highest export value was recorded in May 2024 at US$478,210, while the lowest was in September 2024 at US$44,860.
