Top 5 Most Imported Goods by Indonesia from Saudi Arabia

Saudi Arabia is one of the world's largest oil producers and frequently exports its petroleum products to various countries worldwide, including Indonesia. Based on data from the Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS), petroleum was the most imported commodity from Saudi Arabia to Indonesia during the January-November 2021 period.

Crude oil imports from Saudi Arabia were the largest, valued at US$2 billion during the January-November 2021 period. This amount represents 58.73% of Indonesia's total imports during that period.

Indonesia's total imports from Saudi Arabia throughout January-November 2021 amounted to US$3.4 billion. Besides crude oil, Indonesia also imported petroleum products from Saudi Arabia valued at US$459.39 million (13.4%).

Furthermore, imports of propane and liquefied butane from Saudi Arabia totaled US$229.9 million (6.73%). Imports of alcohol, phenol, and phenol-alcohol amounted to US$199.9 million (5.85%).

Indonesia also imported plastic materials from Saudi Arabia worth US$173 million (5.1%). Meanwhile, imports of other goods from Saudi Arabia during January-November of last year amounted to US$347.97 million (1.18%).
