According to the Indonesian Automotive Industry Association (Gaikindo), a total of 480,310 completely built-up (CBU) car exports from Indonesia were recorded from January to July 2022.

This figure represents a 189.16% year-on-year (yoy) increase compared to the 166,100 units exported during the same period in 2021.

CBU car exports during the first seven months of 2022 also exceeded the total exports for the entire year of 2021 (294,639 units) by 63.01% (yoy).

The majority of CBU cars exported from Indonesia between January and July 2022 were Daihatsu, totaling 81,827 units.

Exports of Toyota CBU cars from Indonesia reached 76,506 units, followed by Suzuki with 28,912 units, Mitsubishi Motors with 28,776 units, and Hyundai-HMMID with 17,714 units.

Furthermore, 3,191 units of Honda CBU cars were exported from Indonesia during the January-July period this year. Hino and Hyundai-HIM each exported 454 units, DFSK 268 units, and Wuling 7 units.
