Based on a report from the Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS), *2024 International Tourist Visit Statistics*, Russian citizens spent the longest time vacationing in Indonesia, averaging 28.78 nights.
Next were tourists from Pakistan, averaging 18.72 nights. Chinese tourists followed in third place, averaging 18.20 nights.
Tourists from Denmark recorded an average stay of 16.73 nights.
Meanwhile, with an average stay of 16.65 nights, German citizens ranked fifth as tourists who stayed a relatively long time in Indonesia.
Tourists from Hong Kong had the shortest average stay in Indonesia, at 2.26 nights.
Other tourists with the shortest visits came from Singapore (3.07 nights); Malaysia (3.29 nights); the Philippines (3.57 nights); and Thailand (3.78 nights).
Overall, the average length of stay for international tourists in Indonesia throughout 2024 was 7.6 nights. This figure is a decrease compared to 2023, which recorded an average international tourist visit of 8.5 nights.
