In March 2023, Kredivo and the Katadata Insight Center (KIC) conducted a survey to examine the trends in PayLater usage in Indonesia.

The results, from 6,403 surveyed PayLater users, showed that the majority, or 39.9%, used the service more than once a month.

This figure represents a significant increase compared to the previous year's survey, where only 27% of respondents used PayLater more than once a month.

In the March 2023 survey, the proportion of respondents using PayLater once a month reached 20.8%, three times a month 20.1%, and six times a month 13%.

Meanwhile, only 6.2% of respondents used PayLater once a year.

The survey also found that the proportion of consumers who have been using PayLater for more than a year increased from 55.9% to 78.6%.

"This indicates that more and more consumers are comfortable using PayLater as a payment method," said the Kredivo and KIC team.
