Apple Releases M3 MacBook Air: Here's the Price

Apple launched its latest MacBook Air, powered by the Apple M3 chip, on Monday, March 4, 2024.

This new laptop model is available in two screen sizes: 13-inch and 15-inch.

Apple first released the M3 chip in October 2023 for its Mac laptop series.

The chip boasts an 8-Core CPU, 10-Core GPU, and 16-Core Neural Engine. Its performance is claimed to be 60% faster than its predecessor, the M1 chip.

The MacBook Air M3 also features several new capabilities, including the ability to connect to two displays simultaneously even with the laptop lid closed.

This laptop also features a Retina display, a battery lasting up to 18 hours, Wi-Fi 6E, two Thunderbolt ports, a 1080p FaceTime HD camera, speakers with Spatial Audio and Dolby Atmos support, and Touch ID.

The MacBook Air M3 comes in four colors: midnight, starlight, silver, and space gray. Pre-orders for the laptop began on Friday, March 8, 2024, in 28 countries, including the United States.

* MacBook Air M3 13-inch 8/256 GB: US$1,099 or approximately Rp17.24 million (assuming an exchange rate of 15,695 per US$)
* MacBook Air M3 13-inch 8/512 GB: US$1,299 or approximately Rp20.38 million
* MacBook Air M3 13-inch 16/512 GB: US$1,499 or approximately Rp23.52 million
* MacBook Air M3 15-inch 8/256 GB: US$1,299 or approximately Rp20.38 million
* MacBook Air M3 15-inch 8/512 GB: US$1,499 or approximately Rp23.52 million
* MacBook Air M3 15-inch 16/512 GB: US$1,699 or approximately Rp26.65 million

Currently, there is no official information on when the MacBook Air M3 will be sold in Indonesia. However, iBox Indonesia is already selling the MacBook Pro M3 variant on its official website.
