7 Leading Health Supplement Brands with the Largest E-commerce Market Share: Blackmores Takes the Top Spot

Compas, an Indonesian market research firm, calculated the market share of the top 7 health supplement brands in Indonesia sold through e-commerce. These seven health supplement brands include Blackmores, NOW, Vitabiotics, Wellness, Prove D3, Nature's Plus, and Interlac.

Compas found that Blackmores held the largest market share in June 2023, reaching 19.29%. This Australian brand recorded 22,600 sales during that period.

"This success can be attributed to their focus on product quality and effective marketing strategies," wrote the Compas research team in their report.

NOW came in second, achieving a 3.31% market share in the health supplement category, having sold 2,800 products.

Third place went to Vitabiotics with a 2.22% market share, selling 1,600 health supplement products on e-commerce platforms.

"This brand has successfully built a reputation as a reliable provider of high-quality health supplements," explained the Compas research team.

Wellness ranked fourth with a market share of 1.90%. This US health supplement brand sold 1,300 products. The remaining market share is shown in the accompanying graph.

This research utilized a digital online crawling method for the seven brands. The research team used filters for top brands, specific time periods, merchants, product subcategories, and seller types available on the Compas Dashboard.

The data search also calculated the sales of health supplement products in official stores on Tokopedia and Shopee from June 1st to June 15th, 2023, totaling 10,925 products.
