Lenovo was recorded as the world's best-selling PC brand in the April-June 2021 period. Total shipments reached 20 million units in Q2 2021.
The next best-selling PC brand was HP Inc., with a total global shipment of 18.59 million units. Following this, Dell Technologies shipped 13.97 million units.
Apple and Acer Group were next, with total shipments of 6.15 million units and 6.08 million units respectively. Meanwhile, 18.7 million units of other PC brands were shipped globally.

A report from the International Data Corporation (IDC) shows that global shipments of personal computers (PCs) reached 83.6 million units in Q2 2021. This figure represents a 13.2% increase compared to the same period the previous year, which saw 73.87 million units shipped.
Global PC shipments were still significantly impacted by the Covid-19 pandemic. This was due to more consumers shifting their spending priorities, including on PC purchases.
