Xiaomi's Smartphone Market Share in Indonesia is the 5th Largest in Asia Pacific

A Statista report shows that Xiaomi's market share in Indonesia is the fifth largest in the Asia Pacific region, reaching 19.83% of the smartphone market.

Meanwhile, Myanmar dominates Xiaomi's smartphone market share in the Asia Pacific region, with a recorded 30.93% market share for the Chinese smartphone brand.

Next, Xiaomi's market share in India is 27.28%, the second largest in the Asia Pacific region. The Maldives and Nepal rank above Indonesia, with market shares of 21.99% and 21.21%, respectively.

Following Indonesia, Xiaomi's smartphone market share in Bangladesh and Papua New Guinea reached 19.42% and 11.46%, respectively. Brunei Darussalam, Sri Lanka, and the Philippines each hold market shares of 11.05%, 8.69%, and 7.79% in the Asia Pacific region.

In China itself, Xiaomi's smartphone market share is only 7.11%. This figure places the smartphone's market share in its home country at 12th largest in the Asia Pacific region.

Xiaomi is one of the best-selling smartphone brands globally. According to a Counterpoint Research report, Xiaomi shipped 44.4 million smartphones worldwide in Q3 2021, with a year-on-year growth of 3.26%. This placed Xiaomi in third place for the highest number of smartphones shipped globally from January to September 2021.
