Singapore achieved a perfect score of 100 and secured first place. Sweden followed in second place with a score of 95.938, and the United States ranked third with a score of 95.41. The 2017 IMD World Competitiveness report marked the first time a ranking on digital competitiveness was released. The ranking is based on 50 criteria, one-third of which are new data points.
