The number of ultra-high-net-worth individuals in Indonesia has increased to 1,403.

According to Knight Frank's 2022 Wealth Report, the number of ultra-high-net-worth individuals (UHNWIs) in Indonesia reached 1,403 in 2021. This represents a 1% increase from 1,390 in 2020.

UHNWIs are individuals with a net worth of at least US$30 million. In 2021, a total of 610,569 ultra-wealthy individuals were recorded globally according to Knight Frank's data.

The number of ultra-wealthy individuals in Indonesia has increased by 68% since 2016. In 2016, the number of UHNWIs was recorded at only 832.

Knight Frank projects that the number of UHNWIs in Indonesia could increase by 29% by 2026. This means there will be 1,810 ultra-wealthy individuals in that year.

Not all countries have experienced an increase in the number of ultra-wealthy individuals. For example, the number of ultra-wealthy individuals decreased by 0.4% in Malaysia and 1% in Vietnam.
