The Central Statistics Agency (BPS) has compiled the average net salaries of formal sector workers in the accommodation and food and beverage industries in 2022. This data is categorized by primary occupation and sample age.
The data shows that the 50-54 age group received the highest net salary, at Rp3.15 million per month. The 40-44 age group came second, with Rp2.73 million per month.
Third was the 30-34 age group, with Rp2.7 million per month. Fourth was the 45-49 age group, receiving Rp2.61 million per month. Fifth was the 35-39 age group, with an average net salary of Rp2.52 million per month.
Among these age groups, the lowest salary was received by the 15-19 age group, at Rp1.5 million. The Indonesian average, across all ages, was Rp2.31 million per month.
This data is based on the results of the BPS National Labor Force Survey (Sakernas) conducted in August 2022.
The following are the average net salaries per month for formal sector workers in the accommodation, food and beverage industries, by age group:

* 25-29 years old: Rp2,432,184
* 30-34 years old: Rp2,704,656
* 35-39 years old: Rp2,522,091
* 40-44 years old: Rp2,731,875
* 45-49 years old: Rp2,618,495
* 50-54 years old: Rp3,157,437
* 55-59 years old: Rp1,947,111
* 60+ years old: Rp1,622,799
* Indonesia Average: Rp2,313,615
