Furthermore, 6.8% of respondents preferred clearance sales, while 4% liked buy-one-get-one-free promotions. The remaining 0.4% indicated a preference for other promotions.

This research also shows that most consumers choose marketplaces as their preferred online shopping destination compared to social media and brand websites. Additionally, the majority opt for regular shipping services due to timely delivery and lower costs.

The research involved 4,590 respondents across Indonesia aged 17 and above with internet access. Conducted from August 24-28, 2021, the majority of respondents belonged to socio-economic groups B and C.
