According to Counterpoint's report, global smartphone sales in the fourth quarter of 2025 grew by 2% compared to the fourth quarter of 2024 (year-on-year/yoy).

In the fourth quarter of 2025, smartphones based on the Android OS accounted for a 72% share of total global smartphone sales.

Counterpoint assessed that the performance of HarmonyOS in the fourth quarter of 2025 was hampered by the delay in the launch of the Huawei Mate 80 series.
