According to data from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS), the percentage of Indonesian youth using computers did not undergo significant change during the 2020-2025 period.

In March 2020, nationally, 26.45% of the population aged 16-30 years used computers.

After that, the figure fluctuated to 25.27% in March 2025, not much different from March 2020, and even still lower.

"This means only about 1 in 4 young people in Indonesia use computers," said BPS in its report, Indonesian Youth Statistics 2025.

"Computer usage is relatively stagnant with a slow upward trend," BPS added.

According to BPS data, the percentage of youth using mobile phones increased from 94.55% (March 2020) to 97.41% (March 2025).

Subsequently, the percentage of youth accessing the internet increased from 85.62% (March 2020) to 96.69% (March 2025).
