The results showed that approximately 41% of respondents have this habit, with details as follows: 23.7% do it occasionally, 12% frequently, and 5.2% always share personal data on social media.

"Education regarding the implementation of digital security practices and increasing public awareness of cyber security threats and personal data is still needed," said the Ministry of Komdigi in its report.

The survey also found that the most common personal security measure taken by respondents was adjusting post privacy settings on social media, with a proportion of 62.3%.

The Ministry of Komdigi conducted this survey on 18,564 individuals aged 15-64 years and 11,901 business units spread across 514 regencies/cities in Indonesia.
