According to a survey by the Indonesian Internet Service Providers Association (APJII), several online stores or e-commerce platforms were commonly used by Indonesian people in 2025.

The majority of respondents, or 53.22%, frequently accessed Shopee. Others frequently accessed TikTok Shop (27.37%), Tokopedia (9.57%), and Lazada (9.09%).

Fewer respondents accessed Blibli (0.29%), Facebook Marketplace (0.25%), and other e-commerce applications (0.21%).

This survey also found that 30.34% of respondents made online transactions several times a month.

Furthermore, 24.76% made online transactions several times every few months, 14.78% several times a week, and 2.41% almost every day.

APJII conducted this survey on 8,700 respondents aged 13 and above, proportionally distributed across 38 Indonesian provinces. The sample was selected using multistage random sampling.

Data collection was conducted from April 10 to July 16, 2025, using face-to-face interviews, with a margin of error of approximately 1.1%.
