An Ipsos Indonesia perception survey shows that SeaBank is the leading digital bank in Indonesia, surpassing its competitors in reputation and connectivity. Competitors include Jago, Bank Neo Commerce (BNC), Allo Bank, and Superbank.
SeaBank achieved a 59% trust and reputation rating, significantly higher than other digital banks: Jago at 26%, BNC at 22%, Superbank at 14%, and Allo Bank at 11%.
Ipsos Indonesia highlights trust as the primary factor influencing consumer choice. It emphasizes that a successful digital bank needs more than just comprehensive features or an attractive interface; users prioritize security and reliability.
"Trust in digital banking applications is built through consistent, seamless user experiences that maximize data and fund protection," Ipsos Indonesia stated in a written release on Monday, June 16, 2025.
SeaBank also received the highest score for application ease of use, at 43%, followed by Jago at 34%, BNC at 24%, Superbank at 20%, and Allo Bank at 13%.
For smooth and secure application operation, SeaBank scored 44%, followed by Jago at 34%, BNC at 26%, and Superbank and Allo Bank both at 14%.
Finally, in terms of connectivity to other digital applications, SeaBank scored 43%, followed by Jago at 35%, BNC at 28%, Superbank at 16%, and Allo Bank at 11%.
This online survey was conducted using Ipsos Digital Solutions via online panel-fast facts at the end of February 2025, involving 300 respondents from various regions across Indonesia.
Using a structured questionnaire, the sample included men and women aged 18-55 from various socioeconomic backgrounds. All respondents were active internet users with at least one digital bank account, actively using it at least once a month.
