According to a We Are Social report, in April 2025, global internet users aged 16 and older spent an average of 608 minutes (9 hours 58 minutes) per week watching television.
During this period, the United States had the longest average television viewing time, reaching 1,007 minutes (16 hours 47 minutes) per week.
Indonesia ranked 44th globally. The average Indonesian internet user spent 498 minutes (8 hours 18 minutes) per week watching television.

1. United States: 1,007 minutes (16 hours 47 minutes)
2. Brazil: 1,004 minutes (16 hours 44 minutes)
3. United Kingdom: 992 minutes (16 hours 32 minutes)
4. France: 962 minutes (16 hours 2 minutes)
5. South Africa: 935 minutes (15 hours 35 minutes)
6. Spain: 928 minutes (15 hours 28 minutes)
7. Mexico: 926 minutes (15 hours 26 minutes)
8. Denmark: 921 minutes (15 hours 21 minutes)
9. Norway: 911 minutes (15 hours 11 minutes)
10. Portugal: 909 minutes (15 hours 9 minutes)
The We Are Social report also noted that globally, internet users aged 65 and older watched more television than younger age groups.
Women aged 65 and older watched an average of 1,089 minutes (18 hours 9 minutes) of television per week. Men over 65 spent 1,083 minutes (18 hours 3 minutes) per week watching television.
