According to a Snapcart survey, only 39% of Indonesian respondents consume multivitamins to maintain their health.
Within this group of multivitamin consumers, the majority (38%) consume them daily. Then, 31% consume them 2-3 times a week, and 16% once a week.
Some consume multivitamins only once a month (3%), several times a month (3%), and once a year (1%).
Furthermore, 4% consume multivitamins only during the rainy season, the transition between seasons, or during disease outbreaks; and 3.10% consume them inconsistently, depending on their mood or only when needed.
Snapcart also surveyed various health-preserving efforts undertaken by the public during the rainy season, the transition between seasons, or periods with high disease prevalence.
Outside of the 39% who consume multivitamins, 2% of respondents reported receiving immunity-boosting injections or infusions.
Then, 32% consume fruits and vegetables, 20% adopt a healthy lifestyle, and 7% do not consume anything or take any specific measures to maintain their health due to being busy or lack of interest.
Snapcart conducted this online survey in December 2024, involving 830 respondents spread across Indonesia.
