"The Trauma Code: Heroes on Call" is one of the latest Korean dramas (drakor) airing on Netflix, starting January 24, 2025.

"The Trauma Code: Heroes on Call" also ranked in the top 10 in 26 countries and topped the Netflix charts in South Korea, Indonesia, and Malaysia.
This medical-genre drakor is adapted from the popular webtoon by Lee Nak Jun, titled "Severe Trauma."
"The Trauma Code: Heroes on Call" tells the story of Baek Kang Hyuk (Ju Ji Hoon), a genius trauma surgeon. He is recruited as the director of the trauma center at Hankuk National University Hospital.
The drama depicts the heroic actions of Dr. Baek Kang Hyuk as he conflicts with hospital executives to save the lives of his patients.
In his journey, Baek Kang Hyuk is assisted by colorectal surgeon Yang Jae Woon (Choo Young Woo) and trauma nurse Cheon Jang Mi (Ha Young).
Seeing the audience's enthusiasm, the author, Lee Nak Jun, confirmed that the series will continue until the third season.
