JakPat conducted a survey on social issues concerning Generation Z in Indonesia.

The results show that the majority are concerned about job opportunities and economic inequality, both at 64%.

Other issues of concern for this generation include the education system (57%), violence against women and children (56%), corruption (50%), human rights (47%), and crime (45%).

"When viewed based on parental status, Generation Z who have become parents appear to be more concerned about the issue of violence against women and children," JakPat wrote in its report.

This JakPat survey involved 1,155 Generation Z respondents, those born between 1997 and 2012. Respondents consisted of 50% women and 50% men.

Respondents were located in non-Jabodetabek Java (44%), Jabodetabek (28%), and outside Java (28%).

The survey was conducted online via the Jakpat application from December 6-9, 2024, with a margin of error below 5%.
