Countries with the Best 5G Network Online Gaming Quality: Indonesia Included

OpenSignal research shows that South Korea was the best country for playing online games via 5G networks in the Asia-Pacific region in mid-2024.

Based on data collected by OpenSignal from April 1 to June 30, 2024, South Korea scored 91.9 out of 100 points.

"This means that the majority of users considered the network experience adequate, with no noticeable lag in almost all cases," wrote OpenSignal in its report on Wednesday (September 25, 2024).

According to data.ai, compiled by OpenSignal, South Korea also ranked second globally in consumer spending on mobile games on the Google Play Store.

Singapore came in second with a score of 90.5 points for online gaming quality on 5G networks.

Indonesia followed in third place with a score of 89.1 points, surpassing Hong Kong, Malaysia, Japan, and Australia.
