Top 10 Best-Selling Vitamin Brands on E-commerce During Indonesia's Deflation

According to a report by the Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS), Indonesia experienced monthly deflation from May to September 2024, with the general prices of goods and services decreasing compared to the previous month.

During this period, market research firm Compas found that vitamin sales on e-commerce platforms tended to increase.

"From May to September 2024, consumers continued to purchase health and wellness products on e-commerce platforms," Compas wrote on their Instagram account on Saturday (October 19, 2024).

From May to September 2024, Blackmores was the top-selling vitamin brand. This Australian brand achieved a 7.2% market share of total vitamin sales on local e-commerce platforms during the deflation period.

Next was Zymuno with a 5.4% market share, followed by NOW (3.3%), Tolak Angin (2.6%), and Bronson and Prove D3, each with 1.8%.

Other vitamin brands such as Eyebost, Nutrimax, Mganik, and Megamove achieved smaller market shares, as shown in the graph.

Compas conducted this research using online crawling or digital search methods. They collected sales data from both official and non-official stores on Shopee, Tokopedia, and Blibli, with a minimum product rating of 4 stars.
