According to data from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS), in 2023 approximately 92% of Indonesian households regularly purchased information and communication technology (ICT) needs.

This ICT expenditure includes payments for telephone services, mobile phone purchases, mobile phone credit, internet costs, and so on.

In 2023, national household ICT expenditure averaged Rp206,980 per household per month.

This proportion is equivalent to 3.58% of the total monthly expenditure of ICT-using households, which averaged Rp5.8 million per household per month.
