Virgin Group founder Richard Branson is ranked second with 19.64 million followers. LinkedIn Executive Chairman Jeff Weiner sits in third place with 10.7 million.

Next, Huffington Post media founder Arianna Huffington has 10.05 million followers. Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella is ranked fifth with 9.58 million.

Bill Gates' ex-wife, Melinda French Gates, is ranked ninth on this list. The founder of the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation has 7 million followers.

Although there are three Microsoft figures on this list, Microsoft is not the company with the most followers on LinkedIn. The company with the most followers on LinkedIn is Google, with 23.38 million followers.
