The Financial Services Authority (OJK) report shows a continuous increase in the number of securities crowdfunding (SCF) organizers licensed by the institution. By mid-2022, there were 10 SCFs.
In 2018, there were only 2 SCF organizers. This number increased to 4 in 2019 and remained stagnant in 2020. The number of SCF organizers increased by 3 to 7 in 2021.

10. PT Dana Rintis Indonesia.
Total funding raised by SCFs reached Rp507.20 billion from the beginning of the year to June 3, 2022. This figure represents a 22.75% increase from the total funds raised throughout 2021.
The number of issuers or MSMEs utilizing SCF also grew by 89.60% year-to-date (YTD) to 237 issuers. Meanwhile, a total of 111,351 investors invested in SCFs this year.
For information, SCF is an alternative funding source for MSMEs that uses a technology-based crowdfunding scheme with a securities offering concept. SCF is one of the breakthroughs issued by the OJK to help MSMEs develop their businesses using digital platforms.
