10 Securities Crowdfunding Organizers Obtain OJK Licenses: Who Are They?

The Financial Services Authority (OJK) report shows a continuous increase in the number of securities crowdfunding (SCF) organizers licensed by the institution. By mid-2022, there were 10 SCFs.

In 2018, there were only 2 SCF organizers. This number increased to 4 in 2019 and remained stagnant in 2020. The number of SCF organizers increased by 3 to 7 in 2021.

The following is a list of SCF organizers as of the beginning of this month:

3. PT Crowddana Teknologi Indonusa
4. PT Numex Teknologi Indonesia
5. PT Dana Saham Bersama
6. PT Shafiq Digital Indonesia
7. PT Dana Investasi Bersama
8. PT Likuid Jaya Pratama
9. PT LBS Urun Dana
10. PT Dana Rintis Indonesia.

Total funding raised by SCFs reached Rp507.20 billion from the beginning of the year to June 3, 2022. This figure represents a 22.75% increase from the total funds raised throughout 2021.

The number of issuers or MSMEs utilizing SCF also grew by 89.60% year-to-date (YTD) to 237 issuers. Meanwhile, a total of 111,351 investors invested in SCFs this year.

For information, SCF is an alternative funding source for MSMEs that uses a technology-based crowdfunding scheme with a securities offering concept. SCF is one of the breakthroughs issued by the OJK to help MSMEs develop their businesses using digital platforms.
