Contrary to Coordinating Minister Luhut's claim regarding his big data, the cybersecurity research institution Communication and Information System Security Research Center (CISSRec) found that the majority of netizens disagreed with postponing the election.

From big data tracking using open-source intelligence (OSINT) on Twitter accounts, CISSRec found that the topics "extension of term" and "three periods" were only present on approximately 117,746 accounts. This number includes accounts that sent tweets, replies, and retweets.

From that number, CISSRec found that the majority of netizens on Twitter rejected the postponement of the 2024 election. Specifically, 83.60% rejected the postponement, and only 16.40% supported it.

Based on this data, CISSRec Head Pratama Persadha believes Coordinating Minister Luhut needs to explain the process of obtaining the big data related to the election postponement that he possesses. "So that it does not create polemics in society," said Pratama in his press statement on Tuesday (12/4/2022).
