PT Sinar Mas Agro Resources and Technology, commonly known as SMART, topped the list of Indonesia's largest palm oil companies in 2020, with revenue reaching Rp 40.3 trillion. The company manages 137,372 hectares of land, comprising 106,428 hectares of productive company land and 31,304 hectares allocated for plasma land with local farmers.
In addition to supplying domestic needs, the company also exports to various countries in Europe, the Middle East, the United States, and Africa.
