A digital survey by Telkomsel, tSurvey.id, reveals that Tokopedia was the most trusted online marketplace (e-commerce) among Indonesian micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in 2022.
76% of respondents stated they conducted online sales activities on Tokopedia. Shopee followed closely, with 75% of respondents selling on that e-commerce platform.
Conversely, fewer MSMEs trusted Lazada, Bukalapak, and Blibli, ranging from 14% to 19%, as shown in the graph above.
tSurvey indicates that Tokopedia was not only the most trusted but also provided the most satisfying experience and service to MSMEs compared to its competitors.
The survey also identified several aspects contributing to Tokopedia's superiority. These include ease of use (70%), comprehensive sales features (68%), good resolution center service (66%), satisfactory logistics facilities (70%), user-friendly interface (UI) (70%), and a complete payment system (73%).
Rangga Gandina, General Manager of Data Solution Sales and Partnership at Telkomsel, stated that the survey findings highlight the importance of satisfying experiences and services for online MSME actors.

Based on location, respondents were proportionally distributed as follows: 60% from Jabodetabek (Jakarta, Bogor, Depok, Tangerang, Bekasi), 30% from other parts of Java, and 10% from outside Java. The majority (60%) of respondents were male, while 40% were female.
