Kredivo and Katadata Insights Center (KIC) conducted research on the average transaction value of Indonesian men and women in online shopping. The results show that men's transaction values are higher than women's.

The research, titled *Indonesia E-Commerce Consumer Behavior*, notes that, on average, both male and female consumers made 11 online transactions per year.

Women purchased a larger quantity of products on average—45 products per year compared to men's 42 products. Female consumers also tended to buy more items per transaction.

However, the research found that men spent more per transaction, averaging Rp320,982 in 2021. This is an increase from Rp299,195 the previous year.

Meanwhile, women spent an average of Rp289,163 per online transaction. This also increased from Rp258,116 the previous year.

This research is based on a survey of 3,500 Kredivo users across Indonesia who made online transactions on Blibli.com, Bukalapak, JD.ID, Lazada, and Tokopedia in March 2022.

The report also includes a comparison with survey results from the same period the previous year, using a similar number of respondents.
