After the American GP, Enea Bastianini rockets to the top of the 2022 MotoGP World Championship standings.

Enea Bastianini won the 2022 MotoGP Americas race held at the Circuit of The Americas, Austin in the early hours of Monday, April 11, 2022. This is his second win in MotoGP 2022. Previously, the Gresini Racing team rider won the opening round of the MotoGP Qatar on March 6, 2022.

The result of the 2022 Americas MotoGP propelled Enea Bastianini to the top of the standings. Bastianini now leads the provisional standings of the fourth round of MotoGP 2022 with a total of 61 points after winning the Americas GP.

Below Bastianini is Alex Rins, who climbed to second place. Alex Rins earned a total of 56 points.

Meanwhile, the previous MotoGP standings leader, Aleix Espargaro, dropped to third place with 50 points. Aleix Espargaro, who won the Argentinian GP two weeks ago, finished 11th in the Americas MotoGP.

Joan Mir is in fourth place with a total of 46 points. He is followed by Fabio Quartararo with 44 points.
