Miguel Oliveira won the 2022 Mandalika MotoGP. The Red Bull KTM Factory Racing MotoGP rider earned 25 points after finishing first with a time of 33 minutes 27.223 seconds.
The Portuguese rider, number 88, secured first place on the podium after beating other racers at the Mandalika Circuit, Central Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara, on Sunday, March 20, 2022.
Delayed by heavy rain, the 2022 Mandalika MotoGP was eventually completed. Scheduled to start at 2 PM WIB, the race began at 3:15 PM WIB.
MotoGP officials shortened the race to 20 laps for safety reasons, down from the planned 27 laps.
Fabio Quartararo (20) of the Monster Energy Yamaha MotoGP team finished second, earning 20 points. Johan Zarco (5) of the Pramac Racing team finished third, earning 16 points. Jack Miller (43) of the Ducati Lenovo Team finished fourth, earning 13 points.
Alex Rins and Joan Mir of the Team Suzuki Ecstar finished fifth and sixth, earning 11 and 10 points respectively. Franco Morbidelli of the Monster Energy Yamaha MotoGP team finished seventh, earning 9 points.
Enea Bastianini, the winner of the 2022 Losail (Qatar) MotoGP, earned 5 points after finishing eleventh. Marc Marquez, a MotoGP rider from the Repsol Honda Team, was unable to participate in the 2022 Mandalika MotoGP due to an accident during a practice session the day before the race.
