Qatar 2022 World Cup: Argentina and Poland Advance to the Round of 16 from Group C

Argentina's national team secured their place in the Round of 16 after defeating Poland 2-0 in their Group C matchday 3 game at the Qatar World Cup.

With an additional 3 points, Argentina topped the Group C standings with 6 points, ensuring their progression to the next round. Poland, despite losing to Argentina, also advanced to the next stage with a total of 4 points, finishing second in the group.

Previously, Lionel Messi and his teammates suffered a 1-2 defeat against Saudi Arabia on matchday 1 of the Group C stage. However, they bounced back on matchday 2, defeating Mexico 2-0.
