East Java Had the Most Construction Consultants Nationwide in 2020

Construction consultants play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth progress of a construction project. They are responsible for guiding the client from the planning stage to the project's completion.

According to data from the Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS), there were 9,782 construction consultants in Indonesia in 2020. This figure comprises 34 foreign-invested (PMA) consultants, 46 foreign consultants, and 9,702 national consultants.

By province, East Java had the highest number of construction consultants, with 1,083. West Java followed with 950 consultants.

Jakarta had 931 construction consultants. Central Java and South Sulawesi each had 669 and 650 consultants, respectively.

Bangka Belitung had the fewest construction consultants, with only 41 in 2020. Gorontalo followed with 59 construction consultants.
