Bogor Apartment Prices Rise During Pandemic

Landed houses remain highly sought after by most people in the Jabodetabek area, leading to increased market prices in that property segment. However, several areas in Jabodetabek have recorded apartment price indices that are far more promising than landed houses, including Bogor City, Bogor Regency, and Tangerang Regency.

In the fourth quarter of 2020, the apartment price index in Tangerang Regency rose the highest by 10 points, based on the Rumah.com Indonesia Property Market Index (RIPMI). This was followed by Bogor City, which rose by 7 points, and a slight quarterly (QoQ) increase in Bogor Regency.

Entering the first quarter of 2021, the apartment price index in Bogor City saw the highest increase, rising by 7.6 points compared to the previous quarter. Meanwhile, the price index in Bogor Regency remained relatively stagnant, followed by Tangerang Regency, which fell by 4.9 points quarter-on-quarter.
