The 2023 Construction Statistics Report from the Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS) shows that most Indonesian construction workers have a high school education or lower.

The number reached 664,260 workers, or 56.03% of the total permanent and contract construction workers in 2023. This number increased from 649,240 in 2022.

Meanwhile, 521,380 workers, or 43.97%, were university graduates in 2023. This figure also rose from 508,000 in 2022.
