Juda Agung was officially appointed as the Deputy Minister of Finance at Istana Merdeka, Jakarta, on Thursday (5/2/2026).
He replaced Thomas Djiwandono, President Prabowo Subianto's nephew, who became the Deputy Governor of Bank Indonesia (BI).
"Moving from Thamrin to Lapangan Banteng is not something new for me. But actually, when I look at the faces of the first and second echelons, these are familiar faces to me," said Juda at the Ministry of Finance office in Jakarta, as reported by Katadata on Thursday (5/2/2026).
He admitted that he has often coordinated with the Ministry of Finance staff since he was still a staff member. So, coordinating in the real, fiscal, and monetary sectors is not new to him.
According to the Asset Declaration Report (LHKPN) of the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK), Juda was recorded as having assets worth Rp56.08 billion in 2024, with the reporting date of March 10, 2025.
Most of his assets are securities worth Rp22.30 billion.
Juda is also recorded as owning 7 plots of land and houses worth Rp21.52 billion spread across Central Jakarta, South Jakarta, and Bogor.
There are also cash and cash equivalents worth Rp11.88 billion and transportation tools worth Rp2.02 billion.
Juda's transportation tools include 3 cars, namely a Toyota Fortuner (2020), a Toyota Calya (2019), and a BMW 739LI (2022).
As of the end of 2024, Juda was recorded as having debts of Rp1.65 billion.
