Public Satisfaction Level Regarding Corruption Handling During the Prabowo Era

A Kompas Research and Development (Litbang Kompas) poll shows that a majority, or 73.6%, of respondents expressed satisfaction with the Prabowo Subianto administration's handling of corruption cases.

This comprises 9.9% who were very satisfied and 63.7% who were satisfied.

"There is considerable optimism that the future Prabowo-Gibran administration will be able to resolve various alleged corruption cases," wrote Litbang Kompas in its report on Friday, June 13, 2025.

Conversely, 23.5% of respondents stated dissatisfaction with the Prabowo administration's anti-corruption efforts. This breaks down into 22.4% dissatisfied and 1.1% very dissatisfied.

In line with the high satisfaction rate, 78.3% of respondents also felt confident that the Prabowo administration could resolve various corruption cases in Indonesia.

Furthermore, this survey also found that the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) is the institution most trusted by the public to resolve corruption cases, with a trust level of 51.6%.

This is followed by the Corruption Crime Court (18.3%), the Attorney General's Office (17.3%), the Indonesian National Police (Polri) (4.8%), and others.

The Litbang Kompas survey involved 1,200 respondents from 38 provinces, randomly selected using a multistage random sampling method. Data collection was conducted face-to-face from April 7-13, 2025.
