Five Ministers Working Behind the Scenes, According to Celios

The Center for Economic and Law Studies (Celios) evaluated the performance of the first 100 days of the "Red and White Cabinet" by surveying 95 journalists with in-depth insights into the government's performance.

These journalists were asked to assess the performance of ministers in the Red and White Cabinet based on five indicators: program achievement, alignment of policy plans with public needs, leadership and coordination quality, budget governance, and policy communication.

Journalists were chosen as respondents because they are considered experienced in routinely observing the performance of public officials.

"Because their profession [journalists'] requires them to seek facts, verify information, and provide accurate and unbiased reports, they can provide a more objective and independent assessment," Celios stated in its report titled *100 Days of Prabowo-Gibran*.

The results showed that Forestry Minister Raja Juli Antoni was considered the least visible minister/agency head in the first 100 days of the Red and White Cabinet, according to 9.47% of respondents.

Following were Natalius Pigai (Minister of Human Rights), Arifatul Choiri Fauzi (Minister of Women's Empowerment and Child Protection), Budiman Sudjatmiko (Head of the Poverty Alleviation Acceleration Agency), and Budi Arie Setiadi (Minister of Cooperatives), each receiving 8.42% of the responses.

Celios' survey also found that 46% of respondents considered inter-ministerial collaboration in the Red and White Cabinet ineffective. This was evident in the frequent overlap of programs.

"There is often inconsistency in policy implementation on the ground, such as the constantly changing implementation management related to the Free Nutritious Meals program," Celios wrote in its report.
