Other expectations for the next Jakarta governor include providing good public services (18.6%) and handling corruption (14.1%).

"(Corruption) is becoming more important than in regions that tend to be more permissive towards corruption issues," said Yunarto.

Other expectations for the next elected Jakarta governor include addressing security or crime issues, resolving traffic congestion, upholding the law, addressing infrastructure development problems, and others as detailed in the attached graph.

This Charta Politika survey involved 1,200 respondents in Jakarta, with criteria of being 17 years of age or older, or eligible voters. Respondents were selected using a multistage random sampling method.

Data collection was conducted from September 19-24, 2024, through face-to-face interviews. The survey's margin of error is approximately 2.83% at a 95% confidence level.
