BNN Employee Salaries to Increase in 2024: Here's the Amount

President Joko Widodo has increased the performance allowance (tukin) for employees of the National Narcotics Agency (BNN).

This increase is based on Presidential Regulation (Perpres) Number 78 of 2024 concerning Performance Allowances for Employees within the BNN, enacted on Tuesday (August 6, 2024).

“Based on the achievements of the bureaucratic reform implementation, the National Narcotics Agency has met the criteria for an adjustment of performance allowances,” as quoted from the Presidential Regulation.

The performance allowance is differentiated based on 17 job classes.

The lowest performance allowance is for job class 1, amounting to Rp2.53 million per month, up from the previous Rp1.96 million per month.

Meanwhile, the highest is for job class 17, amounting to Rp33.24 million per month, up from the previous Rp26.32 million per month.

These performance allowance regulations do not apply to BNN employees who do not hold a specific position, are temporarily dismissed, or are dismissed from their organic position.

Performance allowances are also not given to employees who are on leave without government support or are in a period of leave for retirement preparation.

With this change, the previous regulation, Presidential Regulation 159/2015 concerning Performance Allowances for Employees within the BNN, is no longer valid.
