Survey: Majority of Public Satisfied with Anies-Riza's Performance Leading Jakarta

Anies Baswedan and Ahmad Riza Patria officially concluded their terms as Governor and Deputy Governor of Jakarta on October 16, 2022. According to a Populi Center survey, the majority of Jakarta residents expressed satisfaction with their performance during their leadership.

The survey results showed that the satisfaction rate with Anies-Riza's performance reached over 80%. Specifically, the average satisfaction rating was 7.66 (on a scale of 1-10), with an accumulated score of 6-10 (positive/satisfied) amounting to 83.5%.

Meanwhile, the accumulated score of 1-5 (negative/dissatisfied) was 15.8%. Respondents who did not know or did not answer amounted to 0.7%.

Populi Center researcher Dimas Ramadhan stated that several indicators contributed to public satisfaction with Anies-Riza. The most significant factor was the DKI Jakarta government's programs; approximately 60% expressed satisfaction with 15 out of 27 Anies-Riza programs. These programs ranged from Taman Maju Bersama (RPTRA) and Kartu Jakarta Sehat (KJS) Plus to waste management.

"Considering the many positive/good/satisfied assessments of existing programs, this has resulted in a high level of satisfaction with the leadership of DKI Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan and DKI Jakarta Deputy Governor Ahmad Riza Patria," said Dimas, as quoted from a press release on Wednesday (October 19).

On the other hand, 12 other programs received negative assessments. These programs included flood mitigation and coastal embankment construction.

This survey was conducted from October 9 to 16, 2022, through face-to-face interviews with 600 respondents in DKI Jakarta. The survey method used was multistage random sampling with a margin of error of approximately 4% at a 95% confidence level.
